Temporary deployment

You collaborate inter- of transdisciplinary, across the borders of disciplines and organisations. You want to build or expand this collaboration. Or you want to change or set up something new. But you are short of hands, the people in your team are too busy and there is no financial room for more permanent support staff. Collaboration so far has not come naturally, perhaps you even encountered a crisis or conflict situation. Besides, what you want is quite complex, several organisations or organisational units are involved. How are you going to bring it all together?

Co-creation

Working method

I take your plans a big leap further. I learn, think and act quickly and I make connections easily. As a collaborative architect, I work with the relevant people to design your project, programme or new policy. As a natural leader I take charge of the collaboration. In doing so, I combine hard management skills with “soft skills”. Keywords of my approach are co-creation and process facilitation. The needed wisdom is already present in the involved people. I learn to speak their languages and get to know their motivations and perspectives. In this way, I ensure broad support for your plans and shared ownership. Soon after starting, I know enough of the content to be a full sparring partner. I build a programme, a project, or whatever collaboration structure you need. I design the collaboration in such a way that those involved can efficiently work together in the implementation.

I was interim coordinator at the Center for Unusual Collaborations (CUCo). The organisation was going through a difficult transition phase. I navigated through this complex collaboration and sensitive relationships by bringing calm, structure and overview, in combination with my facilitator and systemic toolbox.
