Meetings with impact

You have had many meetings. Conversations, business strategy or away days, you name it. But they are not very productive and you hardly make any progress. Everyone is working in their own silo, saying “yes” but still going back to business as usual. And your vision seems further away than ever.

As a facilitator, I make sure that participants are on the same page and take action and responsibility.

As a collaboration architect, I design and facilitate a good conversation, a working session, a strategy meeting, an initial exploration of a collaboration, a participation or consultation meeting or a workshop. Together, we work on content and mutual connection at the same time. I mainly use Liberating Structures conversational structures to ensure an impactful and productive session. With Deep Democracy, and the occasional touch of sociocracy, we take broadly supported decisions. My meetings are inspiring, connecting, productive and constructive. Collaboration becomes action-oriented and delivers more than the sum of its parts. We work in co-creation. All participants are equal, everyone’s perspective is given attention. Connection arises while we are working on the content.

Working method

First, we explore your goals and intended outcome for the meeting. Sometimes I also talk to 1 or several meeting participants. With that input, I create a draft design for the session.

What others say

'It was amazing how quickly a vibrant energy ran through the room and how we really got something done in a short time (on multiple levels). A result we haven't had before in a team meeting.'

Peter Middelkoop – Royal Dutch Visio

‘You can communicate easily and quickly with Moniek prior to the session. She pleasantly and proactively thinks along with the assignment and, at the same time, quickly makes it her own with appropriate, inspiring and active work forms. Moniek knows how to create an open and pleasant atmosphere in which people feel at ease. At the same time, she is sharp in monitoring the meeting goals and the dot on the horizon to achieve the desired content and output.'

Liz Bloemheuvel – Bartiméus

'Moniek facilitated a social event with our team. The meeting was well experienced by the participants. Thanks to the chosen working methods, everyone had a voice, everyone remained captivated throughout the session and people made contact easily (including those who did not yet know each other). This created a pleasant and inspiring dynamics. Also, the outcome of the meeting provides opportunities for future collaborations between our group members.'

Thomas Hoogeboom – IQ Healthcare – Radboud UMC

'Moniek works proactively in her preparations, comes up with proposals and suggestions and creatively adjusts them if the conversation calls for it. She is a constructive thinker with vision and a listening ear. You can confidently leave it to Moniek to realise the goals you discussed with her beforehand. She adapts her approach to the needs of the group, switching gears when necessary. She provides a relaxed setting and uses creative interventions in a goal-oriented way to achieve results under her clear guidance. The combination of casual, creative, businesslike and goal-oriented approach is very strong.'
