Collaborative Minds
For whom?
You are a research or community manager working for a knowledge institution in the context of an interdisciplinary, inter-faculty or inter-institutional collaboration.
Do you know the feeling of being alone? That you single-handedly have to keep all the balls in the air and invent the wheel at the same time? That you have to balance different interests? And that while you yourself may still be searching for your role, position and mission.
The Collaborative Minds programme offers a combination of theory, skill building and insight into your own role. Applied to your own situation and specific to the academic setting.
The Collaborative Minds programme offers:
1.
Expertise development
You learn about collaboration across disciplines and organisations, and about group dynamics, from multiple theoretical perspectives. This theoretical foundation helps you see what is needed to move forward in complex collaborative situations.
2.
Facilitation skills
You practise facilitating collaborative processes and meetings yourself, with skills ranging from listening and decision-making to different workshop formats. These skills will help you to actually take the right steps towards the goal, without having to do all the work by yourself.
3.
Understanding your role and position
You discover from a systemic perspective what your own role, position and influence is as a research or community manager. Understanding this helps you see what your own responsibility is (and what not), and what you can do from that position (and what not).
4.
Learning in your own context
You learn on the basis of your own case or situation, allowing you to immediately apply what you have learned in your daily work.
5.
Learning with each other
You connect with others who encounter the same complex collaborations in their work. This allows you to learn from each other, find like-minded people and be each other’s sparring partner.
Interested?
The (academic) world will not change, but the way you act in that world will. And that is how you can make a difference.
The Collaborative Minds programme is under development and will be launched in 2025.
Too much at once? Or only interested in one part? No problem, I also offer the modules separately.
